      EVENT DETAILS
      The Great OS Migration

There are roughly 15 million mobile computers operating in the US today.  The vast majority of these are running either Windows CE or Windows Mobile.  Microsoft has announced an end of all support for those operating systems in 2019 and 2020.  If your organization relies on mobile computers running a Microsoft operating system, you need to plan for the Great OS Migration. On June 14, 2018 Ritesh Gupta, Sr. Manager World-wide Technical Operations at Zebra Technologies, will lead a workshop on considerations related to OS migration for mobile computers.  Ritesh will address the following: Why does this matter?   Is there a risk in staying on the Windows O/S? What are your options, what other operating systems are available in the enterprise market. Is there a business case for upgrading to a current enterprise OS? Please join Avalon Integration and Zebra Technologies for a 90 minute session to explore and understand the challenges and options for organizations using enterprise mobile computing.  There is no cost for this session, but seating is limited so we ask that you register ahead of time.
